Using Google Creative Lab methods to create, I questioned that because remote work is here to stay, how can we alleviate some of the problems that arise with working from home?
Enter Gmail Time Out.
When it came to designing the ux/ui of Gmail Time Out it was crucial to be consistent with their existing branding and slot in perfectly to their existing interface design. The communication of Gmail Time Out could be completely in our own style which I took and ran with, completing a trio of hand-illustrated posters, featuring an anthropomorphised fun fox (Marty).
In a university class I received the opportunity to collaborate directly with Google Creative Lab to design for a post- Covid World. We were asked to produce a communication output to accompany a theoretical product or service that is a solution to a problem that arose because of the Pandemic.
While completing primary and secondary research, it became important for me to create a solution to the problems of working from home and to assist in the balance of understanding work/life balance.
